- We are now exempt from certain tax liabilities
- As a public benefit corporation, we are:
- Organized for the educational benefit for our members and for the community
- Organized for charitable purposes
Limited Liability
- No Director or Officer shall be held liable for any acts on behalf of the Corporation
Fiscal Control
- No ONE person is in control of the finances
- The signatures of 2 officers is required on all checks
Professional
- We are now organized as a Professional Corporation
- The decision-making process will follow a flow of responsibilityas that of a professional corporation
- The Corporation’s acts and affairs shall be governed by and under the direction of the board
